Rockhill Academy for Independent Living was founded in 1995 by Rockhill Manor as a non-profit teaching program that prepares its students to live in the least restrictive community setting available.
We offer daily living-skills training, permanent housing with services, rehabilitation counseling, self-advocacy training, health and symptom management, and community resource development.
Students learn to realize their true potential in an environment that respects personal choice and demands accountability.
If you are interested in helping our residents, we are frequently seeking volunteers and donors who can provide resources and education for our students, as well as on-site entertainment and off-site community excursion opportunities. We also accept in-season new or nearly-new and cleaned clothing, belts, accessories, coats and shoes for adults in all sizes. Coats are accepted year-round. Please contact Ryan Hovendick at 816.872.3927 or email@example.com.
Rockhill Academy is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
