What is the criteria for living at Rockhill Manor?

Rockhill Manor is the only assisted living campus of its kind that offers comprehensive mental health services and life skills education.  We are exclusively dedicated to meeting the needs of people who have a chronic mental illness. Potential residents must have a documented mental illness diagnosis.

What are my payment options?

We accept private pay, Social Security, Disability income, VA, and SCLS (Supported Community Living Services). We also accept SNC (Supplemental Nursing Care) through Medicaid. Our staff will assist with resident rent rebates and we can serve as Representative Payee for our residents at no charge.

Which all-inclusive services are provided at Rockhill Manor?

Which complimentary services are provided at Rockhill Manor?

  • Assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, hair care and laundry.
  • Guest banking services.
  • Housekeeping and linen services.
  • Medication filling, monitoring, and administration.
  • Routine nursing care and supervision.
  • 24-hour security and protective oversight.
  • Three delicious meals per day, plus an evening snack.
  • Regularly scheduled daily activities.
  • Computer lab on-site.
  • Resident advocate assigned to each resident upon admission.
  • Transportation to medical appointments.

What can residents bring with them?

Rockhill Manor can provide a bed, bedside table, dresser and a chair. Residents are encouraged to decorate their rooms to make them as homelike as possible. They are allowed to bring in stereos, pictures, T.V.’s, and personal belongings (as room size permits). Heat-producing appliances are not allowed. Certain items may need approval.

Are pets permitted?

No pets are allowed. However, Rockhill Manor has a resident cat for everyone’s enjoyment.

Is transportation provided?

Transportation to medical appointments can be arranged. Rockhill Manor has two vans; one van is used as dedicated transportation to resident appointments, and the other is used for larger resident outings. In addition, Rockhill Manor is within walking distance to the bus lines.

Can residents smoke at Rockhill Manor?

Rockhill Manor provides an indoor smoke lounge and two outdoor smoking locations for residents who choose to smoke.

Academy FAQs

Can anyone participate in Rockhill Academy classes and activities?

Our curriculum is exclusive to qualified residents of Rockhill Manor and guests in our Respite Care facility. 

Does it cost anything to participate in Rockhill Academy classes or activities?

No. All classes, activities, and community excursions are free to those enrolled in our program.
